MultiRide is a database application for planning and registering transport by volunteers, which was developed by Fraser Valley Software in cooperation with CARE Transit, the Volunteer Transit Program for the District of Hope, BC in Canada.This MS Windows application allows the organization to organize the rides from begin to end. Enter the preferences for the Drivers and the Clients, and the Clients' requests for rides, and the software will match the best suitable Driver for the ride, considering the feedback provided by both. It also stores all information about Agents and Supporters. Print annual overviews of all donations for your Supporters, monthly listing of rides performed by each Driver and for each Client, and much more. When purchasing MultiRide, it comes with a Site License which means you will be allowed to install the application on as much computers as you want, as long as they are within the same building and for use within the same organization. When the database (MS Access database, but you don't have to have MS Access installed on your computer to be able to run MultiRide) is installed to a network server or a shared drive on one of the computers, the application can be used from multiple workstations at the same time accessing the shared database.

A free trial version can be downloaded from the download page. This trial version is a fully functional application, but there's a restriction to the data it can contain; until you've registered your version, you will be able to enter a maximum of 25 contacts (either drivers, clients, supporters or agents) and a maximum of 25 rides.
